To demonstrate various aspects of polarised light.

Description
An overhead projector has been converted into a home made polariscope by ath addition of a large sheet of polaroid permanently fixed below the Fresnel lens. A second polaroid is attached to a motor allowing slow rotation. The demonstrations that may be displayed with this setup are:
- Crossed polaroids
- Interference colours in mica
- Strain birefringence
