He-5 Dependence of Viscosity on Temperature

To demonstrate that the viscosity of a gas increases with temperature.
- Copper tubing as in diagram
- Bunsen burner

The tube is connected to a gas supply and the jets ignited. One arm is then heated and the flame at that end becomes smaller owing to the increased viscosity of the gas.
