Description
When the pendulum is set into oscillations, its plane of oscillation is noted and marked. While the pendulum is swinging its support frame is rotated, the pendulum is then clearly seen to oscillate in the original plane. This demonstration simulates a pendulum oscillating above the poles of the Earth.
